What is covered?
Our entire range of Travel insurance policies include cover for Repatriation to your home country within the EU if it is medically necessary. All of products are available to Australian, New Zealand and South African passport holders who are currently living in the EU. If you are from Australia, New Zealand or South Africa and would want to be Repatriated back to any of these three original home countries, you can add this extra cover. Cover is for round trip journeys from your EU country of residence and also for one way trips of up to 15 months duration and can be optionally extended to include Repatriation to Australia, New Zealand or South Africa where medically necessary.

If you have a good quality insurance policy, you should have access to 24 hour emergency assistance which can help you in the even of an emergency. If you become ill or injured, you or your travel companion should contact them immediately, or ask the hospital staff to do so. The assistance provider provides multi-lingual support and can agree a treatment plan with local doctors, arrange direct payment of medical bills and help to organise any necessary additional travel and accommodation expenses for your travelling companion. Also if its medicaly necessary, they can arrange an emergency repatriation; and / or arrange a repatriation when you are well enough to return home if you have missed your scheduled return date. This can include medical escorts as medically required.
