What is Economy Travel Insurance?
Globelink Economy policy is designed for persons travelling on package/self-catering holidays with durations ranging from 1 to 60 days and looking for a cheap travel insurance policy providing the essential cover without baggage and personal effects. This type of policy is designed for all age groups up to 84 years.
Globelink Economy Travel Insurance from €35.03 is available to people who are living in EU or EEA countries including Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.

The European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) / Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC) provides some emergency healthcare within the EU, but it does not cover Repatriation costs, or a doctor or nurse escort home; nor lost or stolen property. You need Travel Insurance for that.
